We love pancakes around here and will often eat them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (just not all in the same day). This recipe is heartier than most and keeps us full longer. It is great with
homemade butter and
homemade pancake syrup.
Hearty Whole Grain Pancakes
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp suger
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Mix all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl.
- On a hot greased skillet, griddle, or wok, pour 1/2 cup batter, and cook until the underside is gloden brown.
- Flip over, and cook the other side until golden brown.
Andrew especially loves these
cake-cakes!
