No there is no honey in the recipe, just the brown sugar. I updated the post to reflect this.<br /><br />This recipe is more moist than some granola recipes, but it should brown lightly after baking for 25 minutes. When I make this recipe, it is toasted but not nearly as dry as store bought granola.
